I got 1280x560 resolution by going to Settings->Playback->Youtube File Profile and setting to HIGH. YMMV based on video etc as I'm not sure what that even does lol.
I never used Youtube playback within TMT except for just now to try and see if anything made a difference haha.
EDIT: Just checked another video and it played 1080p if available. High seems to play the max resolution from Youtube.

Correct. The profile selection controls the YouTube video resolution. Because the specific resolutions available on each video vary, we went with more generic terminology.
Q:outube HD 1080 Full-screen Problem?
So, when I go to youtube any video that I play in 1080 HD, only 1080, when I play it in full screen the computer kind of freezes, the video plays perfectly fine but i cannot exit the full-screen mode, kind of stuck there...does anyone know what can be the reason?
Thank you, p.s. computer is fine, never experienced a problem with other videos.

The solution to your problem might very well depend on what
version of "Flash" you've got installed.
Play a video in regular mode (not full-screen), then right-click
on the actual video itself. From the dropdown menu, click on
"Settings". If you see 5 small square icons along the bottom
row, you might be in luck.

The first 2 icons should have sleek computer monitors. Click
on the one that has an "eye'' on the bottom of its screen; it's
usually the first icon. You should thus see "Enable hardware
acceleration". If the checkbox shows it's "on", simply click it
off, and then click on "Close".
Although my advice may appear ''contrary'' to the principle of
"Flash", it actually works. Please doublecheck it for yourself
by going to Flash's own website, then look at the 2nd-to-last
FAQ near the very bottom. Here's my "written-out" version of
the full URL reference, followed by its link:
